Step back into the 1960s at the Leeds Historic Walk: Leeds Walk 1960’s on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM–1:30 PM in Downtown Leeds.
Enjoy live music, Market on Main with local vendors and crafts along 7th Avenue, and great food from Leeds restaurants and food trucks. Explore a 1960s Museum at the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library, Railroad exhibits at Leeds Historic Depot, see classic cars from the ’60s, and meet re-enactors portraying Leeds residents of the era.
Dress in your favorite 1960s-themed outfit and come ready to have a great time!

Be a Reenactor
Portray a real person who was active in the Leeds area during the 1960s — a factory worker, teacher, coach, shopkeeper, church member, musician, student, civic leader, or hometown hero. Help us tell the full story of Leeds — families, businesses, schools, churches, and the growing industries that shaped our community.
Bring Your 60’s Wheels
Got a classic from the era?
Cruise through Downtown Leeds or park and show it off! Let folks admire those chrome bumpers, tailfins, and muscle car memories.
Live Music at the Roxy Theater Stage (8th Avenue)
The Roxy Theater Stage will be rockin’ all day!

Leeds High School Jazz Band kicks things off with live music to set the vibe.
11:00 AM–12:00 PM
1960s Music Contest — local groups perform one upbeat ’60s hit dressed as the original artists. Friendly competition, cool awards, and plenty of room for dancing in front of the stage!
12:00–2:00 PM
The Buicks bring the house down with live 60’s favorites to close out the celebration.

All Aboard at the Depot
Step into history at the Leeds Railway Depot, where we’ll be “selling” passenger train tickets just like folks did through 1965. It’s your chance to experience a slice of real Leeds railroad history.
