Leeds Historical Commission, Leeds Historical Society, Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce and Leeds Redevelopment Authority invite you to join our efforts in bring history to life as we create walking tours, trails and historical assets to showcase the history of Leeds, Alabama.
Over 150 people are working together on different teams to make this year's tour spectacular with over 75 reenactors in full costume who will be on the streets of Leeds, Alabama telling the stories of people and places in the year 1940!!
There are a multitude of ways that you can volunteer your time, talent and resources. Our committee is comprised of community leaders with different skill sets and the work is divided into different teams. You are welcome to utilize your community service hours to help us carry out the work necessary to host these walks and tours.
