What It Is

  • Perform one upbeat 1960s song
  • Dress as the original band/artist (costumes encouraged!)
  • Fun awards + bragging rights
  • Businesses, churches, civic groups, clubs, friends — all welcome

How the Contest Works

  1. Form a group (coworkers, friends, organization members).
  2. Choose a 1960s song (first-come song approval).
  3. Pick your style: live band, sing with track, or lip-sync.
  4. Show up ready to perform at 11:00 AM on the Roxy Theater Stage.

You don’t have to be a pro — we’re looking for fun, creativity, and 1960s spirit.

Awards

  • 🎤 Best Musical Performance — best singing/musicianship/presentation
  • 🕺 Best Costume / Best Band Look — best 1960s artist or band recreation
  • 🌼 Grooviest Performance — most fun, most 60s, most “far out!”

Winners announced right after the contest — jinkies, it’s gonna be a blast.
